Keep a list of all your affiliate logins.  If you lose the information, you can request the affiliate to email your login information.  This usually arrives almost immediately.

You can specialize in niche areas, such as fetishes for example, or you can place any links and banners you wish on your site.
Please note: most affiliate programs bar the use of bondage, rape, child porn, bestiality. You should create a separate website and use affiliates which permit such fetishes if you desire.

Some affiliate companies host their banners and you do not need to copy the banners to your drive. In most cases, however, you will need to copy the banners to your drive.  Left click on the banner and save it to your drive.  It is best to insert one banner at a time into your page so that you remember the exact image code and can match it to its link.  See below for code.
Be sure that the banner name as saved on your computer is correctly shown in the link. Sometimes your computer assigns a DIFFERENT name to the image of the banner.  If for example your computer gives the width and height of the banner, you will need to insert that into the html code for the banner.

You must become familiar with html code in order to ensure that your banner codes are correct so that you will receive proper credit for any visitors who click on your banners to reach the affiliate site.

Copy the banner to your drive.  Then go to the page and insert the banner.  Close the page saving the banner.  Now, reopen the page and click on the banner, go to the HTML section and you will see the banner code highlighted.  Now enter the linking code.  Delete the pic of the duplicate banner you first saved.

be careful to note whether the image is a gif or jpg.  Maybe your hosting company requires that you put the entire image information such as: http://www.yourdomain.com/banner.jpg  You can check with your hosting company.  Internet Turnpike does NOT require this for the image to show.  Merely the name of the banner and size as per yellow instructions above.
YOU MUST ALWAYS REMEMBER TO CLOSE THE a href tag at the end of every image.  </a> closes the a href.  If you forget to do this, your links will be messed up.

Here is another good idea: when working in the html view of FrontPage, always SEPARATE the links using several spaces using your enter key.  That way, if you need to delete or change a link, you can find it easily. 

Also this helps you to keep your code "clean".

Just click on the image on the normal view and then go to html and you will see the image highlighted. 

Submit your site to Google, MSN and Yahoo. Those are the biggest search engines; they send the most traffic to your site.

HINTS FOR WORKING WITH FRONTPAGE: If you have a lot of web pages, you need to click on the TOOLS tab and select RECALCULATE HYPERLINKS from time to time.  ALSO: clear your cache periodically because if you have too many files in your history, FRONTPAGE can sometimes refuse to work.  Go to Start, then Control Panel, then Internet Options and Delete Files including offline files, Delete Cookies and History.  These are the main things that cause FP to malfunction.  Don't panic when FP stalls, just go thru the routines set forth just above.  Then reopen FP and it should work fine.
